I was persuaded somewhere on these Interwebs that memtest86+ is good enough that if it doesn't catch an error on the first pass, my odds of finding one on later passes are astronomical.
I should've known, but clearly this is not the case. Today I found an error on pass 6, and the error was confirmed 11 times over the 6 hour test period.
It's a pain, but from now on I'll be running memtest overnight.
